Okay let me first off say that I really wanted to love this book! I loved That Boy so much and I had very high expectations for the sequel...That being said, I was majorly disappointed with That Wedding.First off if you are looking for more of the Phillip and Jadyn love story, you won't really find it until the very, very end of the book.Jadyn continues her selfish and destructive behavior when it comes to her relationship with Phillip. I think what turned me off was the constant sex in the book. Don't me wrong I do read erotica, but you are expecting it. Jadyn and Phillip use sex to solve their problems which I find really childish. Jadyn is incapable of having real conversations with Phillip because they almost always end up in bed together and the talking never really happens.That Boy, really touched me when I read it, but That Wedding almost had me hating both Phillip and Jadyn. I'm really hoping that the That Baby book will be better. I really want to see a stronger relationship between Jadyn and Phillip, one where Jadyn isn't self sabotaging every good thing in her life.Jillian Dodd did a great job writing the ending though, by the end, my original two start rating got bumped up to a three. I love how she ended it, with Jadyn's meltdown and a grand wedding that really showed how much Phillip and Jadyn truly love each other. The love that the book was missing throughout, magically shows up at the end where it was greatly needed.So anyway I hate to give the book such an average rating, but I didn't like it enough to give it anything higher. This book is a continuation of the book "That Boy." It is all about Jadyn marrying Phillip, and is such a sweet, hilarious, emotional book. Jadyn is back and funnier than ever. Danny and his texts are hilarious. There are tons of funny jokes and quips and funny stories and memories. The book gets a little repetitive near the middle (but not for long), but it is still perfect in every way.Phillip is still the boy we love. He's always there for Jadyn and he loves her.The one thing that kind of bothered me about this book (and "That Boy") is Jadyn's immaturity... It was okay when she was younger, but she is twenty-two! She could approach situations a little more maturely. Also, she freaked out about seemingly pointless things and then acted drastically on them. It kind of pissed me off, because poor Phillip would also have to suffer due to Jadyn's inability to handle situations calmly and realistically. Sometimes I didn't understand why Phillip would want to marry Jadyn. Phillip is perfect, sensitive, conscientious, considerate, and sensible, whereas Jadyn overreacts, parties, gets drunk, is immature and insensible, and so on. Regardless, though, I love Jadyn. She is so funny and peppy and awesome.The wedding was extremely emotional and moving. The wedding vows were beautiful <3Wonderful book!!!
